Six Thinking Hats (red & white)
I read the Six Thinking Hats colors red and white. White hat means factual like ideas you'd get from a computer. When thinking about a computer it makes sense that another person's opinion would also be listed under the white hat, although when first reading the text it did not make sense to me that opinions belonging to someone else could be considered as facts. I still have not understood how the words occasionally, sometimes, and generally true, can be used when describing facts. Red hat is used to share your own opinions. I like that there is a hat that allows people to share their own opinion on a matter. Personally, I don't understand why there should never be any attempt to justify the feelings or to provide a logical basis for them. In a meeting, I would want to know others' opinions, but I'd also like to have them justify why they feel that way.
