Feedback

  1. How do you want to receive feedback?
For feedback, I want to receive honest and specific thoughts.  I want to know if I’m on the right track and if my ideas are realistic.  I also want to know about problems that others fear may possible be ahead of me.  I’d like to know what I did well, but also what I could improve on.  Giving me an explanation in feedback also helps me understand the reason behind the feedback.
  1. What I will do to give meaningful feedback?
I will certainly try my best to give feedback just like what I would want for myself (specific, prompt, honest, and constructive).  That may include getting out of my comfort zone to be open and honest with my peers.

  1. Karen, I am the exact same way. I always want people to be open and honest with me when I am asking for help or advice. But, I do a really poor job of laying it out in all honesty for them in return.

  2. Hi Karen and Kalista,

I have the same thoughts as you. I will also be having to step outside of my comfort zone in order to provide the feedback that I am hoping to receive. I think at times it can be difficult as we all have different experiences and view points. I think if we all remember that we are here for the same reasons, we will be very productive. I think our community has done a nice job with this so far.
