On Thursday, the 4kers got together with their Kindergarten buddies and made May Day baskets. Not only was this a good project for cross-age peers, but it motivated my students to put time into a longer project and think of someone else. The kindergarten teacher and I hope to walk our buddies up to the nursing home on Monday to hand deliver the baskets of flowers.
