Tonight I learned even more about Google. We briefly discussed Picasa (which I've used a lot this week in creating collages for each student), google earth, google maps, google reader, google sites, and google docs. I've seen Google Earth before, but apparently they've changed some things. It was very neat to see "street view" and how to see different places in the world without having to go there. Google sites helped us to begin our own webpage and in google docs we learned how to create simple forms. I began creating an online form for my beginning survey for my action research.
This evening I found a link to many more cool technology/internet resources. http://www.boxoftricks.net/internet-resouces-for-education/ I used to consider myself more advanced in the technology area, but after tonight I think I have a lot more to explore.
