I grew in the strand of Social Justice and Diversity by:

·          Reading the book Teaching with Poverty

·          Creating a Google Presentation for Teaching with Poverty

·          Reading magazine articles from Teaching Tolerance

·         Reflecting on “the Danger of a Single Story”

I could still improve by communicating more effectively with my non-English speaking parents.  I need to learn more about their cultures.
