Parent teacher conferences are again around the corner. I'm thankful that I've prepared myself the past few months to feel as organized as I do for the upcoming conferences. Each conference is suppose to last 15 minutes and I have way more than 15 minutes of documentation to display for each parent.
I'll be attending parent conferences for my own 2 kids next week and I look forward to seeing how different teachers and different schools do similar things in a variety of ways. I've also been learning about differentiation and the steps of a Differentiated Educational Plan (DEP) compared to an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
As for my action research, I'm ready to make some more corrections and have others look it over. I feel proud knowing how close I am to the end of this program. I'm looking forward to graduation, although I already know the learning for me doesn't stop there.
We had P/T conferences this past week-3:45 until 7:45 on both Monday and Wednesday. Students all day as well. It has been a long week but the end is in sight.
