This past month has been a stressful one as there was a lot going on. As it comes to an end I am ready to celebrate:
- I want to celebrate how well our Rhythms Night went. It was our first ever Rhythms Night for the school district and parents and children both enjoyed it.
- Our all-day Friday field trip was successful. I heard lots of compliments from the kids and parents.
- The 4k Registration night was this week and we had a great turn-out. As of this current moment there are 27 students registered, which is just about half of what we're expecting for next year, but I already have 10 parent requests. As much as I take that as a compliment, I feel it is also a challenge to not disappoint them.
- My principal gave me 3 specific remarks of praise for all I do this week, one of which went out to the entire elementary staff. I organized the 4K registration night with some help from the school secretary. I also created a Movie Maker presentation to music of a typical day in 4K and led much of the registration meeting with incoming 4k families. Next year's class seems excited to start school.
- I fixed my action research paper up from the suggestions made by the external reviewer. It is now submitted to my facilitators for final approval.
- My accountability partner has been awesome about communication and keeping me motivated to keep on going. We are getting closer and closer to graduation!
- I believe I have finished all my homework for this semester. Our learning community meets for the last time this weekend.
- One of my co-workers and I video taped a project of the children and a familiar story incorporating an ipad. I am anxious to upload it to You Tube and share it with our current families.
