Easter break has been productive in many ways. I had 3 extra days off from school which gave me some alone time to clean my room and organize my files for the end of the year. After just one day, I felt like I accomplished something and was refreshed again. Over break I've also spent some time on April homework. I've looked for books that I could read to my kids in the coming weeks about social justice. I have worked on my best practice and teacher leadership brochures and I've read updates written by others on their blogs. Although I haven't been on Twitter lately, I am still able to collaborate with other teachers by email, chat, a listserve, and recently Pinterest. The best part of break was the time I got to spend with family.
