Intervention update

I have been working with my student for almost 3 weeks now on our intervention of turning negative behaviors around.  On average he has missed 1 day of school in each 4 day week.  There is no consistency to his improved behavior, but I know for a fact there has been no more name-calling since we started.  Unfortunately, he did have one really big outburst on the bus one afternoon that resulted in getting kicked off the bus for 2 days.  Other than that, we have had no major outbursts in the classroom for awhile.  All of his tantrums and frustrations have been dealt with in a private discussion between the 2 of us in a timely manner.  The best part is he is willing to meet with me at recess for a few brief minutes to discuss his reward chart each day without any hassles.
